Along the River Strīķupe

The route leads along the peaceful Strīķupe valley, allowing you to walk through ancient pine forests, along winding river banks and sometimes flooded paths, where nature sets its own pace. The way leads along a forest track, in places along dirt roads, with views of cliffs and caves that tell of the depths of life in this landscape.

The route has been created mainly as a walking path — it offers an opportunity to settle unhurriedly into the calm of nature, listening to the babbling of the river and the quiet breath of the forest. If you choose to cycle, please note that the surface is in places uneven, so cycling may be more challenging.
