Around Dēļiņš Hill

It leads through the highest hills of Alūksne Upland – Dēļiņš Hill, Sun Hill and Ope Hill – allowing cyclists to enjoy both steep climbs and pleasant descents. The most impressive of these is the descent from Sun Hill. During the ride you can see fragrant flower meadows, hilly landscapes and pastures full of cattle, visit the church situated highest above sea level in Latvia, and learn about the impressive Jaunlaicene Manor complex. An observant cyclist will also notice road posts that have survived from the 1930s.
