Lubāns – Lubāna

The section of the Aiviekste from Lake Lubāns to Lubāna will be more suitable for those who like to drift calmly with the quiet flow of the river, enjoying untouched
nature, the diversity of birds and the occasional forest animal on the river bank. Feel the true peace of the river and of nature! The 34 km section can be completed in one or two
days; if you want to do it in one day, you will have to paddle more diligently. The current is slow and the drop is approximately 2.5 m over the whole 34 km. At the 15th
kilometre, at the mouth of the Lagoža stream, you will notice a sign where a picnic or overnight stopping place with easy landing has been created.
