About the route
A short, pleasant, easy path that allows quick and comfortable access to the sea in Bigauņciems. A wooden boardwalk has been built along the bank of the Siliņupe and wooded dunes, leading to a wide and very beautiful sandy beach by the old Lapmežciems pier. Waterbirds are often observed on the Siliņupe – mallards, coots, grey herons and others.
